Why-the-PTFE-Wire-conductor-can-not-be-tinned

Why the PTFE Wire conductor can not be tinned ?

The temperature resistance of tinned copper is usually 200°C, while the processing and use temperature of PTFE is generally greater than 250°C, at which the tinned copper will oxidize and blacken, thereby affecting the mechanical properties.

As we can see from the above table, due to the low temperature resistance of bare copper and tinned copper, PTFE wires usually use nickel-plated copper or silver-plated copper.
